Volunteer ProgramVolunteer citizen time, energy and commitment are key ingredients in protecting and preserving this region’s valuable ecosystem and natural resources. Both King County’s Parks and Recreation and Water and Land Resources Divisions work together with citizens to manage and maintain over 25,000 acres in open space, resource lands, and large parklands. If you are interested in volunteering to contribute to the preservation and protection of King County parkland and open space we have projects to fit your schedule, to match with your physical abilities and meet your level of dedication. If you have 2 hours or 200 hours to give to natural resource service, there is something for you here. Please contact us to learn more about opportunities. |
