Tent sites in Pinyon Flats Campground

Camping will still be available in Pinyon Flats Campground during October, but water will only be available at the Dunes Parking Lot or Visitor Center.

Campground Without Water During October

Due to water tank renovations, the Pinyon Flats Campground will have no water starting October 9, 2008, and ending sometime around the end of October. During the closure, visitors will be permitted to camp in the campground at no charge, but restroom facilities and water will not be available there. Portable toilets will be available, and regular restrooms will still be available at the Visitor Center and Dunes Parking Lot. Please call the Visitor Center at 719-378-6399 for the latest specific information as it becomes available.

The Oasis Campground at the park entrance will also be available during October and will have water and showers. Call 719-378-2222.
