Department Wins Awards for Annual Accountability Report

Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting
The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) has awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting (CEAR) to the Department of State for its FY 2005 Performance and Accountability Report, the "annual report" of the Department. The CEAR is the preeminent award for accounting and reporting in the Federal government. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Department has received this prestigious award.

Vision Awards Annual Report Competition
The Department also received recognition for its annual report in a head-to-head competition with the best the private sector has to offer.
