    McIntyre Announces $16,800 for Roseboro Rescue and EMS

    Washington, D.C. –  U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre announced today that the Roseboro Rescue and EMS has received $16,800 to establish a water rescue team.

    Congressman McIntyre stated, “Our rescue and EMS squads are on the front lines of safety, and these federal funds will help Roseboro in meeting the challenges of water rescue safety.  Congratulations to all who have worked to secure these funds.  It is good to see efforts being made to enhance public safety and improve communities.”

    The United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development has awarded Roseboro Rescue and EMS a grant of $16,800 to purchase the diving equipment and establish their own dive team for water rescues. 

    Congressman McIntyre is Chairman of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Rural Development.
