Original Court Documents

Original court documents are filed in the Superior Court Clerk’s Office, located in Room E609 of the King County Courthouse (Seattle) and Room 2C of the Maleng Regional Justice Center (Kent).  Documents concerning juvenile justice matters should be filed in Room 307 of the Youth Services Center (Seattle).

It also is possible to file documents electronically via the internet. Get the latest e-filing news and information from the Clerk’s website.


Working Papers

Working papers (also called "courtesy copies") may be mailed or delivered to the court facility where the judge to whom your case is assigned is located.  For mailing and delivery addresses, please check the Judges Directory.


Court Forms, Court Fees, and Other Court Document Information

Court forms for many actions are available through the Clerk’s Superior Court Forms Directory.

Some documents require a filing fee which is paid to the Clerk at the time the document is filed. Payment can be made by cash, money order, or personal check if drawn on a Washington State Bank.
