If you are interested in gaining an in-depth knowledge to the workings of a congressional office, being an intern might be of interest to you. Interns generally spend several hours of their day working on clerical tasks, assisting permanent staff, and providing services to visiting constituents. However, we strongly encourage interns to pursue their interests and to take advantage of the many seminars and unique opportunities that present themselves during their stay in Washington.
