On July 3, 2001, an immediately effective Order Withdrawing Quality
Assurance Approval was issued. The Order was based on the agency's
lack of confidence that the company would implement the NRC-approved
Quality Assurance (QA) Program in accordance with the regulations
in a manner that would assure the required preparation and use of
transportation packages in full conformance with the terms and conditions
of the NRC Certificate of ompliance and 10 CFR Part 71. |
