Precinct Five (Shoreline)
Precinct Five is composed entirely of the contract City of Shoreline, which is located 15 miles north of downtown Seattle. With more than 53,000 residents, it is Washington’s 14th largest city. The precinct boundaries are Seattle to the south, Snohomish County to the north, Puget Sound on the west and Lake Forest Park on the east. In addition to the precinct headquarters, Shoreline also has an Eastside and a Westside community storefront with regular office hours.

Anti Auto Theft Program
The Anti Auto Theft Program is an educational program that provides citizens with crime prevention information as well as other theft deterrent tools. This program also offers a discounted steering wheel lock known as “The Club.” Steering wheel locks for both cars and trucks are sold at no profit to the public and are available at the main precinct and both storefronts. Bicycle Registration Program

Fingerprints
Residents and people who work in the City of Shoreline can obtain fingerprints by making an appointment with the Shoreline Police Department at 206-546-6730. The fee is $10 for the first two cards and $3 for any additional cards. Please provide your own fingerprint cards, which can be obtained from whomever has requested your fingerprints.
Neighborhood Block Watch
The Neighborhood Block Watch program organizes neighbors to promote crime prevention and deter crime. Areas interested in starting a Neighborhood Block Watch should contact the nearest storefront office or see the department's website for more information about the Block Watch Program.
Citizens’ Academy
Citizen’s Academy classes last for 6 weeks. The purpose of the classes is to create lasting partnerships between police and citizens by teaching citizens about police work. To find out when the next Citizens’ Academy will be held, contact 206-546-6730.
Free Gun Locks
“Put a lock on safety” with free gun locks from the Shoreline Police. The give away is made possible by a grant from Project Home Safe and the U.S. Department of Justice. The cable locks are designed to work on all types of handguns, shotguns, and rifles. The locks come with an instructional booklet and a key. Vacation House Check
The Vacation House Check Program provides assistance to citizens who wish to have their home checked by an officer while they are gone on vacation. Business Watch Programs
Business Watch is an umbrella program which includes many more specific business crime prevention programs including the Retail Theft Program, crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) surveys, crime free multi-unit housing seminar for landlords, Business Watch News, and monthly burglary summaries and maps. Concealed Weapons Permits
All King County residents can apply for a concealed weapons permit or permit renewal by making an appointment with the Shoreline Police Department at 206-546-6730.
