Remarks after attending the President's Meeting with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahwad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

Secretary Colin L. Powell
Outside Blair House
Washington, DC
September 11, 2003

SECRETARY POWELL: We had a good meeting with the Prime Minister. I conveyed to him once again, as the President did yesterday, how much we treasure the relationship we have with Kuwait, and we are confident that that relationship will grow and become even more vibrant in the future. But I’m afraid I’m late for another meeting now.
