The Fort Worth Federal Records Center currently stores nearly 1.4 million boxes of records and processes over half a million requests a year. Whether you need your records within the hour or within the week, we guarantee that our experienced staff will provide you with the utmost in customer service by providing access to the requested information in a prompt and accurate manner.
We provide reference services with a turnaround time of 24 hours to Federal agencies.
We encourage you to utilize our various services that will assist you to efficiently and effectively carry out your agency's mission.
Submit your reference request online through the Centers Information Processing System (CIPS). CIPS speeds your reference request through the system, saving you time and money. We provide same-day electronic delivery of requested records via email. Your reference request is researched, digitized by our records center staff, and emailed to you the very same day in the AdobeĀ® Portable Document Format (PDF), TIF or JPG image. Smart Scan eliminates outbound and return shipping costs and is ideal for both small jobs and urgent requests.
We provide pickup and delivery of reference requests for Federal Agencies within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The service can be provided to your agency each business day or on an as-needed basis. This service is also available for computer tapes and other E-media.
The General Reference Team routinely provides Records Center workshop training, and is able to tailor specific training to meet your needs on utilizing records center services.
