2009 Action Plan
Public comment sought for proposed action plan relating to funding from U.S. Dept. of HUD
Oregon Economic and Community Development Department (OECDD), Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) and Oregon Department of Human Services are seeking public comment for a proposed action plan relating to funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the
  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
  • Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)
  • Housing Opportunities for Persons with HIV/AIDs (HOPWA) and
  • Emergency Shelter Grant Program (ESG).
 
The three agencies are jointly submitting the 2009 Action Plan and proposed 2009 (CDBG) Method of Distribution to HUD for a variety of housing and community development activities. Descriptions of the activities are contained within the plans. A change to the Citizen Participation Plan also is being proposed as an amendment to the 5 year Consolidated Plan.
 
 

Public Meeting and Submitting Comments
Agencies are seeking public comment on these plans through October 3, 2009. A public hearing will be held at 12:00 pm on September 24, 2009, at OECDD, 775 Summer Street NE, Salem, in conference room 201. The draft plans can be viewed at www.ohcs.oregon.gov (Draft Action Plan) and econ.oregon.gov (Proposed 2009 MOD (Method of Distribution)).
 
Written comments on the proposed 2009 Action Plan will be received until 5:00 pm on October 3, 2009.
