The mission of the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) is to promote excellence in public safety through the development of professional standards and the delivery of quality training.
The goal of the Human Resource Division is to provide a comprehensive Human Resource Management program that promotes an organizational culture that embraces high standards of performance and values diversity. Our website is designed to introduce you to the staff and services of the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training, Human Resource Division.

We offer career opportunities with various full-time and part-time positions available throughout the state. In July 2006, DPSST opened a new $77 million training academy in Salem.
