Gas, food, and lodging are available in the reserve and surrounding areas. There is a range of lodging opportunities. For a complete listing of motels and bed-and-breakfasts in the area, call the Central Whidbey Chamber of Commerce at (360) 678-5434.  Camping on Whidbey Island is limited, with sites most readily available in the spring and fall. Moorage is available at the Coupeville wharf for a fee.

Fort Casey  

Did You Know?
Fort Casey was built at the turn of the century as part of a "triangle of fire" designed to guard the entrance to Puget Sound. The Coast Artillery Corps troops were never engaged, and most of the site became a state park in 1954.
