KEY:
SCTG = Standard Classification of Transported Goods;
P = preliminary.
(1) Mixed freight shipments include: supplies and food for restaurants and fast food chains, items (including food) for grocery and convenience stores, hardware or plumbing supplies (not elsewhere classified),
office supplies, and miscellaneous.
NOTE:
The CFS totals in this table differ from the larger BTS totals specified in the text and in tables 1, 2, and 3 because they do not include additions to account for the out of scope missing pieces and some in-scope segments that were underrepresented in the CFS, such as waterborne
and pipeline shipments.
