Extramural Administrative Management Branch
The Extramural Administrative Management Branch (EAMB) advises the staff of the Extramural Programs regarding administrative policies and practices.
EAMB responsibilities include:
- Providing overall administrative support services to the Extramural Programs, including budget, personnel, procurement, space management, travel, and property accountability
- Analyzing the effects of changes in administrative policies and practices by organizational levels above the NIAID and advising the Executive Officer of these effects
- Serving as the coordination point for handling administrative or management problems that cross program lines and that cannot be resolved at that level
