This page welcomes to the Environmental Genome Project, a program of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences/National Institutes of Health (NIEHS/NIH). The mission of the EGP is to improve understanding of human genetic susceptibility to environmental exposures. The EGP supports the mission of NIEHS, which includes the goal of understanding how individuals differ in their susceptibility to environmental agents and how these susceptibilities change over time.
