Pneumococcal Pneumonia

Symptoms

Pneumococcal pneumonia may begin suddenly. You may first have a severe shaking chill which is usually followed by

  • High fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Rapid breathing
  • Chest pains

Other symptoms may include

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Headache
  • Tiredness
  • Muscle aches
