Symptoms
Pneumococcal pneumonia may begin suddenly. You may first have a severe shaking chill which is usually followed by
- High fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Rapid breathing
- Chest pains
Other symptoms may include
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Headache
- Tiredness
- Muscle aches
