CONFIRMATION VOTE SET FOR THURSDAY FOR FINAL RITTER ADMINISTRATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POST
Gov. Bill Ritter's final executive director nominee Russell George for the Colorado Department of Transportation - is scheduled to be confirmed by the Senate on Thursday, formally rounding out the new administration's Cabinet.
"We have important issues facing Colorado and it's time to roll up our sleeves and get serious about moving forward," Ritter said. "I'm pleased the Senate was able to move so quickly on the nominations. We've put together an impressive team that will work tirelessly for the people of Colorado."
The Senate has so far confirmed 13 of Ritter's executive director nominees, all by unanimous vote:
