ICHE - Institute for Continuing Healthcare Education

Institute for Continuing Healthcare Education–Vox Medica

The Institute for Continuing Healthcare Education–Vox Medica (ICHE) provides certified continuing education activities for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, medical technologists, and other allied health professionals.

ICHE was founded in 1992 as an independent educational subsidiary of Vox Medica, Inc. to advance education for healthcare providers. Through its activities, ICHE seeks to provide a continuing medical education program and contribute to improve healthcare outcomes. The purpose of the educational offerings is to enhance patient care, improve professional practice, transfer new knowledge and skills into the clinical setting, and integrate practitioner and societal initiatives for improved health care outcomes.

Partnership Activities

ICHE strives to continually provide educational offerings to benefit allied health professionals. For example, the Hematological Oncology Primary Intervention Networking Group (HOPING) will provide professional education for primary care providers to improve diagnosis and patient referrals with signs of hematological cancers. The curriculum will be developed by the Advisory Committee and disseminated through 12 symposia, via the Internet, and in pocket guides.
