U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau Hosts Conference
on Workplace Flexibility
PHOENIX – The Women’s Bureau of the U.S. Department of Labor is hosting a Flex-Options Conference entitled “Celebrating Flexible Workplaces: The Latest Research, Trends and Innovations” in Phoenix, Ariz. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel.
Shinae Chun, director of the Women’s Bureau, will welcome the following featured speakers to discuss workplace flexibility issues:
Ellen Galinsky, president & co-founder of Families and Work Institute
Donna Klein, president & CEO of Corporate Voices for Working Families
Dr. Carol Lewis, mayor’s special assistant on transportation planning, City of Houston
Karen Noble, senior consultant, WFD Consulting
Deborah Russell, director of workforce issues for the AARP.
Harvey Thomson, senior consultant, Business Opportunities for Leadership Diversity (BOLD)
A panel presentation will be followed by group discussions. About 60 people are expected to attend.
