Employer provisions for parental leave

Slightly more than one-third of full-time employees in medium and large firms in private industry were covered by maternity or paternity leave policies; days off were usually without pay. This article explores survey data on the incidence and provisions of employers' parental leave policies, including an examination of legislative developments.
