State of the Art Technology and a Tradition of Excellence All in One Integrated Package

The ACG System creates a common language for healthcare analysis that benefits healthcare providers, purchasers, and consumers. The system has broad applicability within the government and private sectors of most healthcare delivery systems. In the United States and around the globe, public agencies and private organizations use ACGs for many risk-adjustment applications. The Johns Hopkins ACG methodology is used to:

  • Predict high-risk users for inclusion in care management
  • Determine government- or employer-budgeted payment to health plans
  • Fairly allocate resources within programs
  • Set capitation payments for provider groups
  • Evaluate access to care
  • Assess the efficiency of provider practices
  • Improve quality
  • Monitor outcomes

The ACG System has been used for a wider range of applications over a longer period of time than any other similar system. Internationally, ACGs are the standard tool used by several hundred private and public insurance plans, provider organizations, consultants and research institutes. No similar method has withstood more real-world tests. Each year ACGs are used to exchange many billions of dollars and to help manage care for tens of millions of patients.
