The Library and Archives are available to the general public as well as National Park Service staff, volunteers, partners, and contractors.

Reference Assistance

Reference assistance about the collections is available, but we are unable to undertake lengthy research investigations. Requests for reference services can be made by telephone, fax, mail, e-mail, or in person.

Circulation

Library materials are available to park staff and volunteers on a circulating basis and all others may only use material in the park library.

Archival collections are only available for on-site research. For more information click here.

Availability of Photocopies

Photocopying services are available at a nominal fee for most materials limited only by copyright or legal restrictions.

Photographic reproductions of park collections  are available at reasonable rates. In order to request services, please:

• Interlibrary Loan privileges to borrow from other libraries. (The Library does not currently loan materials outside the Park.)
