Small Business Grants

As do all NIH institutes, NIAID sets aside 2.5 percent of its research budget for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and .3 percent for Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards. SBIR is reauthorized through FY 2008 and STTR is reauthorized through FY 2009 at these levels.
