Criminal Division
The function of the Criminal Division is to promote justice through the vigorous, yet fair and impartial enforcement of the federal criminal laws, and the prevention and deterrence of crime, including acts of terrorism. The Criminal Division is also committed to ensuring that crime victims and witnesses are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, throughout their involvement in the federal criminal justice system.
