About the Team

THE INVASIVE PLANTS EIS PROJECT TEAM

Update 2007:

After the EIS was signed and released in 2005, the majority of the EIS Team returned to their assinged units while others (those who were near retirement when they joined the team) took the opportunity to retire. Highlighted notations reflect changes in the CoreTeam.

The Invasive Plants EIS project team consisted of a small group of full-time, dedicated natural resource and administrative “core members”, supported by a diverse set of consulting scientists and cooperators.  It was the intent of this team that all project-related communications serve to increase mutual trust and credibility among Forest Service personnel and other participants.  The team also recognizes that each individual has potentially unique and valuable knowledge for managing non-native invasive plants.  The Team fully acknowledges their responsibility in keeping interested individuals and groups well informed of project-related activities and progress in a professional, credible and timely manner.
