Public Review Draft Permit

In February of 2006, the Washington State Department of Ecology released preliminary drafts of NPDES municipal stormwater permits for Phase I (a new permit to replace the one issued in 1995) and Phase II (the first stormwater permit issued in this state for municipalities not covered under the Phase I rule). Read the public review draft and Ecology's explanation of the permits. King County's comments, submitted on May 19, 2006, included a cover letter and enclosures (Phase I - Final Draft and Phase I - Cost Summary) that included more detailed comments and suggestions for alternate wording.
