Trail Information

Mt. Muller hike Olympic National Forest is surrounded on three sides by saltwater and is noted for its marine climate, lush rain forests, Roosevelt elk and rugged, mountainous terrain. The Forest has over 250 miles of trail, half of which are at low elevations and can be enjoyed year-round. Trails are divided into three general categories: primary, secondary and nature trails. Primary trails are major access routes and are maintained at regular intervals. Secondary trails are considered primitive routes and generally receive less maintenance. Nature trails are special recreation paths and are located near developed recreation sites such as campgrounds and picnic areas. Some of the nature trails provide interpretation of the Forest's unique features or history.

As you travel the trails and visit the scenic backcountry areas and wildernesses, please travel lightly on the land and leave no trace of your visit.
