Russian NGO Decree - July 2008

In response to the decree there have been numerous media reports implying that it effectively abolishes the tax privileges afforded to numerous international foundations including CRDF, the Ford Foundation, Eurasia Foundation, and others. However, CRDF has reviewed the decree in consultation with its Russian government partners and the U.S. Department of State.
