This service is provided to assist the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in its effort to recruit well-qualified U.S. nationals for positions available within its Department of Safeguards in Vienna, Austria. This site is updated and monitored by the International Safeguards Project Office (ISPO) at Brookhaven National Laboratory.  This page is also designed with the applicant in mind by providing links to pertinent information in order to assist with the recruitment process.

If you would like to be considered for a current or future vacancy please complete a Personal History Form (PHF) and submit it to our office by mail or by sending an email to occhio@bnl.gov.

Please note: Providing a Personal History Form to the ISPO office DOES NOT constitute an application. All candidates must submit formal applications, through the IAEA's online application system or directly to the IAEA Division of Personnel. IAEA Personnel History Forms (in pdf Format) can be downloaded from this site or the IAEA webpage.  The ISPO office can assist by reviewing the PHF and by offering consultation before submission of the PHF to the IAEA.

Please send a copy of your resume, personal history form (PHF) and cover letter for the position being applied for by email or mail to:
