Regular meetings of the full Metropolitan King County Council are held Mondays at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the 10th floor of the King County Courthouse, at 516 Third Avenue between James and Jefferson in Seattle.

Committee Meeting Agendas and Minutes
The County Council functions through the work of its standing committees and regional committees, which scrutinize proposed legislation for consideration by the full Council. Special purpose governments
Under legislative authority to counties provided by the state Legislature, members of the King County Council also serve as ex-officio members of the Boards of two special purpose governments.
