Social Fabric - The Men and Women of the Bleachery
This 88-piece photographic exhibit documents workers
at the Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company Bleachery. Founded
in 1929, it was a major employer for seven decades in Rock Hill,
providing steady, well-paying jobs for three generations of
families. When it closed in 1998, it was the end of the textile
industry era in the city.
