This site offers business information technologies, trends, and resources. It is the only English-language magazine covering the Japanese technology and business scene. It offers user groups, hot products, information on jobs in Japan, and feature articles.

Established in 1982 by the Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies, the Bank of Japan, the Currency Museum provides the history of Japanese currency from ancient to modern times. Users can access information on military notes, abstracts of research papers, and photos.

This organization, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry is a social science institute for activities in the area of economics, politics, and social issues in developing countries. The database includes a monthly update on journal articles and annuals organized by regions. The database is useful for searching for articles in Japanese about Asia and the economy.

Founded in 1982 as an internal organ of the Bank of Japan, the IMES conducts a wide range of studies on the theoretical, institutional, and historic aspects of monetary and economic issues at home and abroad, with the aim of establishing an appropriate background for monetary policy. From this site, users can access economic studies, discussion papers, and virtual currency museum.

International Data Base (IDB).  (http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/idbnew.html)
Presents the International Data Base (IDB), a computerized data bank containing statistical tables of demographic and socio-economic data for all countries of the world. Contains the IDB online total population aggregation and summary demographic data. Allows users to download the IDB program and data. Notes that the IDB was created in the International Programs Center of the U.S. Census Bureau. Lists the type of data available in the IDB, such as migration, marital status, literacy, labor force, income, and ethnicity.

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is a Japanese government-supported organization that promotes mutually beneficial trade and investment relations between Japan and other nations.
