Thompson School of Applied Science
(University of New Hampshire)
The Thompson School has made a unique
contribution to agriculture, forestry, and rural life in New
Hampshire today and over the last century. It has trained
thousands of young men and women in applied sciences such as
dairy and livestock management, equine care and training,
plant production, forestry, and farm business practices.
Graduates own or are employed in hundreds of farm and forest
enterprises throughout the state. The school's own archive of
photographs and other materials are included in the project
documentation.
