Rural Public Transportation
CAP has received another 2-year grant
to continue our rural public transportation service through June 2007. We have service that runs south from Longview to Vancouver (Salmon Creek) and north from Longview to Tumwater.

The service South from Longview to Vancouver runs 3 times a day Monday thru Friday. Present stops include Longview (Transit Center), Kelso (3 Rivers Mall), Kalama (Chevron Station), Woodland (Park & Ride), LaCenter
(Park & Ride), Ridgefield (Park & Ride) and Vancouver (Salmon Creek Park & Ride).

The service North from Longview
to Tumwater
 is available 2 times a day Monday thru
Friday. Present stops include Longview (Transit Center), Castle Rock (Select Market), Exit 63 (Shell Station), Centralia (Amtrak Station) and Tumwater (Tumwater Square).

We also provide Saturday service with 2 trips (morning and afternoon) to Vancouver and 1 trip (mid-day) to Tumwater.
Rural transportation is open to the general public. The fare for each 1 way trip is $1. Students with current school IDs ride for free. Vans are also equipped with bike racks.

Senior Transportation
(Cowlitz-Wahkiakum senior age 60 and
over)
By wheelchair-accessible van and volunteer drivers. For Longview/Kelso residents that live outside of the CUBS service area to come into town for medical appointments and shopping. We also provide transportation for seniors with medical appointments in the Portland/Vancouver area and as far north as Seattle.

Medicaid Transportation
Medicaid transportation is provided to any
individual who is authorized by the Medicaid Transportation Brokerage in Vancouver. For qualifying information or to schedule rides, call the Medicaid Screeners toll free at 1-800-752-9422, and request services from CAP. Medicaid
will call CAP to schedule the ride for you (Note: CAP cannot schedule your ride.) CAP and Medicaid are working together to assist you with your transportation needs.

Private Pay Transportation
CAP also offers a private pay transportation
service.  Transportation can be provided by car, or
wheelchair-equipped vans. Call CAP at 425-3430 or 1-800-383-2101 for information about rates and to schedule rides.
