Wundefinednew nightline logoelcome to Ted Roberts' Nightline Africa--The People's Program!

Airing Saturday and Sunday evenings at 1600 and 1800 UTC, Nightline highlights the latest issues and developments from the corners of the African continent.

Nightline correspondents from Washington, DC, and across Africa offer in-depth interviews, reports and features.

Saturdays, Margaret Dureke offers hope and inspiration on Margaret's Corner, and Bill Workinger, the Answerman, answers questions from you, our listeners.

Sundays, former Under Secretary-General of the United Nations, Dr. James Jonah, looks at the issues of peace and conflict on One Man’s Point of View, and Segun Adeyemi presents the latest in African sports.

In addition, Nightline brings you African arts and culture, featuring African literature, film and music.

Nightline Africa gives you, our listeners, a chance to express yourselves and be heard.  We'll use your comments on the air:

  • Do you have a comment on a news item we've aired?
  • Do you have a point of view you'd like to express?
  • Is something happening in your city or town?
  • Do you have a message for friends, family, Uncle Ted or other Nightline listeners?

Uncle Ted wants to hear from you! Call 202-203-4065 and record your message!
