The geospatial technology industry can be defined as an information technology field of practice that acquires, manages, interprets, integrates, displays, analyzes, or otherwise uses data focusing on geographic, temporal, or spatial contexts. It incorporates tools such as aerial and satellite remote sensing imagery, global positioning systems (GPS), and computerized geographic information systems (GIS).
Apprenticeship programs are being developed for specific occupations in geospatial technology at this very moment. As this information becomes available, we will post it here.
