From Automotive Retailing Today...

Have you always had an interest in form and substance? Do you have a love for design and cars? These two interests combine for a solid, secure, and stimulating career working in the collision repair department at a franchised dealership.

The Automotive Service Association estimates that collision repair is nearly a $30-billion a year industry. That translates into tremendous job security and mobility!

The demand for qualified body repair technicians increases as the number of motor vehicles in operation continues to grow. In fact, the U.S. Department of Labor expects the employment of automotive body repairers to grow just about as fast as the average for all occupations through the year 2012.

Repairing and repainting damaged vehicles back to their pristine condition is very rewarding, and a basic talent, such as an eye for color and dimensions, is only the beginning to a successful career in the body department.
