A National Collection of wild garlic and onions was created in the Tashkent Botanical Garden and belonging to Scientific Productive Centre “Botanika.” The first 8 accessions have been collected together with Philipp Simon during our expedition in Uzbekistan in 2004. One more accession of A. longicuspis Regel was collected in Shahimardan valley (Pamiroalaj mountain system) and sent for evaluation. Phenological investigations have been conducted on the basis of the living collection. In March-April of 2007, all 12 accessions of wild garlic started their generative period normally. Project monitored by e-mail discussions of progress every 6-8 weeks.
