4d.Progress report.
This report serves to document research conducted under a non-funded cooperative agreement between ARS and Michigan State University. Additional details of research can be found in the report for the parent CRIS 3635-21430-007-00D Improved Food Quality in Dry Bean Using Genetic and Molecular Approaches. The objective of this research is to provide cooperative investigations on the breeding and diseases of beans.

A specific cooperative agreement was established between ARS and Michigan State University for collaborative research on measuring the level of folate in a diverse group of commercial bean genotypes that represent maximum diversity in seed types grown in the US.
