4.What were the most significant accomplishments this past year?
Additional details of research can be found in the report for the parent project 6404-21000-005-00D, Small Fruit Cultural and Genetic Research in the Mid South. This report serves to document research conducted under a Specific Cooperative Agreement between ARS and the Department of Agriculture, Stephen F. Austin State University. Potential blueberry cultivars and other elite blueberry germplasm were planted in east Texas and evaluated for plant fruit yield and fruit quality. Two advanced selections are being programmed for potential release as cultivars.
