agricultural operations and during wind events with developed
state-of-knowledge control measures made available to agricultural
producers, land managers, and policy levels of local to national
governments.
- A database of ammonia emission factors for animal production facilities,
manure storage areas, and manure and fertilizer field application sites.
- Progress in identifying the basis for ozone tolerance in crops and
making selections of ozone-tolerant crop varieties.
- Improved understanding of how malodorous compounds are formed and how
they interact with the atmosphere and are transported across agricultural
landscapes.
- Improved understanding of the emission of volatilized pesticides with
preliminary identification of promising approaches to their control.
- State-of-art air-quality control decision aids for selecting control
measures made available to agricultural managers, and policy levels of local
to national governments.
