Objective:
Provide to users information of the National Genetic Resources Program (NGRP) coordinated by ARS and involving ARS, CSRS, FS, APHIS, NAL, State universities, experiment stations, and private industry.

Approach:
Information will be obtained about the NGRP from the many sources to include ARS, CSRS, FS, APHIS, the State universities, private industry, professional societies, trade associations, and international organizations. Vehicle of communication will be DIVERSITY magazine, issued by the non-profit Genetic Resources Communication Systems, Inc. Original Start Date 7/1/87 Original Termination Date 6/30/92. Extended project additional 5-year period 7/1/02 to 6/30/07. Then to 7/1/07 thru 6/30/12.
