LANL Furthering Economic Development in Northern New Mexico
July 31 — Los Alamos National Security, LLC will enter into a first-ever mentor-protégé agreement with TSAY Construction and Services, LLC, a small business 100 percent owned and operated by Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo (formerly San Juan Pueblo) located just north of Los Alamos.

Los Alamos National Laboratory assists Cochiti Pueblo business development
January 18 — Los Alamos National Laboratory today announced the completion of a yearlong effort to assist Cochiti Pueblo in attaining 8(a) business development status with the federal Small Business Administration (SBA).

November 3 — Continuing its all-star annual series of robot-building workshops, scientists from Los Alamos National Laboratory will bring the cold, hard, hand of science to bear in the classroom this week. Armed with a box of robot kits and a cumulative 100-plus years of professional experience, Los Alamos scientists will do a show-and-tell that should turn some heads at Jemez Valley Elementary School, Jemez Valley Middle School, San Diego Riverside School, Walatowa High and Jemez Valley High School.
