New Lab external Web page launched

October 6, 2008

A new and improved external Web site highlighting the Laboratory and its science and technology launched Friday.

Among the features on the redesigned external homepage is "Discover LANL," which provides snapshots of some of the Laboratory's recent innovative research and development. Also included is a News Center section that provides links to Laboratory publications and news sources, such as the NewsBulletin and LANL in the News. The site also includes portals through which readers can easily gain additional information about topics related to the Laboratory's mission and research, including articles about security, science, health, the planet, the universe, and computing.

The Information Resources Management and Communications and Government Affairs divisions collaborated on development and design of the new Web pages.

For the public's view of the Laboratory, check out the new external Web site.
