The Transparency Act requires federal agencies to report data on their transactions in never before-required timeliness and detail. Agencies will always be challenged to provide the required data under the Act's deadlines, but they are committed to improve until they meet the Act's requirements. If you would like to access the data directly, please click here.

This page will report transparently on three categories of data quality: completeness, timeliness, and accuracy. In Spring 2008, the quality of agency data will be assessed and their status for each of these categories will be reported candidly and transparently. For data currently available on USAspending.gov, the following information can be determined:

•Data Timeliness: Data provided by agencies is for transactions completed by the date listed in the table below.
•Data Completeness: Data provided by agencies includes the following percentage of data elements required by the Transparency Act.

This Table outlines the date of the most recent submission of data received from CFO Act Agencies that was loaded to USASpending.gov. Note that the receipt dates below do not reflect the actual date of posting to USAspending.gov or the date obligations are made to recipients.
