Upgrade Kits that include an idling reduction device, emissions control device, tractor and/or trailer aerodynamics, automatic tire inflation, and low rolling resistance duals or single wide tires may improve fuel economy up to 15 percent, reduce oxides of nitrogen (NOx) up to 15 percent, and reduce particulate matter (PM) up to 90 percent. Upgrade Kits purchased by trucking companies can be customized to the specific needs of the company. The following table provides some possible Upgrade Kit options.
