Oregon Technical Advisory Group

As Oregon moves into implementing an Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) network, an advisory group called the Oregon Technical Advisory Group (OTAG) will help guide the EPHT program.  OTAG members will include data owners, epidemiologists, informatics/information technology specialists, environmental professionals, communications specialists, laboratorians, and public health program officials.

OTAG supports network data content, network architecture, partnership building, and evaluation activities.  OTAG, stakeholders, and other partners will help identify common needs, promote resource and information sharing, provide topic area consultation on standards, test methods, evaluate methods for display of data, and support the development of the National Network and public health actions.

Planning Consortium
The Oregon EPHT program was funded to plan for a tracking network both in Oregon and nationally for over three years, ending in July of 2006.

This planning phase was influenced by a group of environmental and health professionals called the Planning Consortium (PC).  The PC was phased out at the end of our successful planning phase of the Oregon EPHT program.

Input from this group helped inform us about local environmental health priorities and what Oregonians wanted in a tracking network. Through the PC we were better able to address what EPHT in Oregon would look like, what data would be in the network, and who would use the network.

Information about past PC meetings is provided in the link below.  From this link you can find past presentations, meeting notes, and lists of participants.  A list of all organizations that participated in the PC is also provided below.
