  • Oregon Violent Death Reporting
    The NVDRS (National Violent Death Reporting System) is being developed in Oregon through a five-year cooperative agreement with The Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Data & Activities

  • Injury Epidemiology
    Injuries most often occur in situations that can be discovered by the use of a scientific method known as epidemiology. Injury epidemiology examines various data sources to describe injury problems among Oregonians, identify prevention strategies, and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Child Fatality Review
    Produces an annual Child Fatality Review Team report.
