Directly following his travel to Central America, on November 5, Secretary of State Colin L. Powell will speak on the topic of U.S.-China relations in College Station, Texas. He will offer remarks and take several questions from the audience. The conference is hosted by Texas A&M University and the George Bush School of Government and Public Service, in collaboration with the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The conference, titled “China-U.S. Relations: Past, Present, Future--An International Conference that Examines the Issues of Yesterday, the Challenges of Today, and the Opportunities for Tomorrow,” takes place November 5-8 at the Leonore and Walter Annenberg Presidential Conference Center in College Station. The Secretary will deliver his remarks at 9:00 a.m. on November 5th.
